INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE MISSION is a global organization that protects the poor from violence throughout the developing world. IJM partners with local authorities to rescue victims of violence, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors, and strengthen justice systems.

Highlighted as one of 10 non-profits “making a difference” by U.S. News and WorldReport, IJM’s innovative work has been featured by Forbes, The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Times of India, The Hindu, The Guardian, The Oprah Winfrey Show, the Today Show, National Public Radio, CNN, and many other outlets.

Last summer, IJM investigators conducted a prevalence baseline study in the Dominican Republic to assess the current levels of commercial sexual exploitation across the country. The data collected serves as a benchmark against which IJM’s impact can be assessed over future years of intervention. The team collected data on minors exploited in the commercial sex industry in 19 cities in the DR, and found that nearly 25% of those prostituted for sex in the streets, parks, and beaches around the country were minors.

Darling is committed to imparting dignity and value to all women, which is why we are proud to partner with IJM and to donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of our magazines specifically for the work being done to end sex trafficking in the Dominican Republic.
