Oh the Places You’ll Go…

Maps of the United States always remind me of grade school, and the days when our teacher would talk to us about travel. I memorized all the states, picked the ones that were my favorite shapes, and decided Tennessee would be the place for me.  Although I’ve never made it out there, it is still a fantastical place in my mind.

As adults, sometimes we forget to wonder about small things and ordinary places. Perhaps we should take on the mindset of a child, hop in a car or plane, and visit a place we thought we knew…and really take it in…

What state did you like the most as a child?
