Obstacles to Productivity

Fatigue. Early morning, late morning, afternoon, late afternoon, evening. It hits us all at different times and different ways. We may notice that its very much the same pattern occurring again and again, but we seem to be personally incapable of staving off the effects. We feel defeated before we begin, and therefore succumb.

Let’s look at a few steps to help with this problem.

Step one: a little is better than nothing. Even moving slowly through the motions towards your current task or goal will help fight the defeat. Breath deeply and let your limbs move one motion at a time, allowing your mind and body to enjoy the ability to do so.

Step two: once you have started moving, do not get hung up on all the things still lingering to do. Make a list, but only after you yes  have already started working so as to not get paralyzed with list making. Write down everything you think you need to do, and then leave it. Get back to your original task and finish it to your satisfaction.

Step three: take a look back at your list and decide upon the next task at hand. If you have the time start upon it, do. If not, do not allow your mind and body to worry, but set aside the time in the future to complete it. Go on with the day that has been entrusted to you, enjoying the beauty that it offers.

It’s that simple. Happy energizing!
